Christina Aguilera Has A New Song Titled “America”

Songs left on the cutting room floor by Christina Aguilera, P!nk, Gwen Stefani, Little Mix and more will see the light of day.
Christina Aguilera has a new album coming out... eventually. It's too tiring (especially on a Monday) to speculate when she'll decide to finally unleash it. Just know that it's coming within the next couple of years. Fortunately, we won't have to wait much longer for a new track from the "Dirrty" singer. Songwriter Linda Perry, who is helping Xtina craft new music for said forthcoming album, and is responsible for co-writing "Beautiful" and a number of other massive hits, is releasing a compilation that features a never-before-heard song from the pop star called "America."
According to Rolling Stone, the unheard tune lands on the Served Like a Girldocumentary soundtrack. The film is about "a group of female veterans vying in the annual Ms. Veteran America competition and the challenges they faced along the way."
P!nk also has a "new" song on the LP titled "Halfway Gone," as does Gwen Stefani with "Medicine Man" from the This Is What the Truth Feels recording sessions.

Christina Aguilera gets a lot of flack for not releasing any new music, but it comes from the right place; we just miss her is all. Fortunately, the singer decided to throw us a crumb. She teamed up with "Beautiful" writer Linda Perry, who is helping Xtina craft new music for her forthcoming(?) album, for a new song titled "America."
The track lands on the Served Like a Girl documentary soundtrack, a film about "a group of female veterans vying in the annual Ms. Veteran America competition and the challenges they faced along the way." Others featured on the soundtrack include P!nk, Gwen Stefani and Natasha Beddingfield.
On "America," Aguilera sings over an acoustic guitar about fulfilling your drams in America. “People come and go through these hotel rooms / looking for a chance to make their dreams come true in America,” she sings. “There’s a great big future in this promise land / Everyone deserves to hold it in their hand in America."
For some of the song, Xtina holds back, and that's greatly appreciated. Don't fret, the signature iconic high notes are there for sure. The whaling, I mean. Welcome back, Christina.
