Christina Aguilera Cancels Canadian Tour Date After Losing Her Voice

Christina Aguilera took to Twitter on Thursday (Oct. 11) to announce the cancellation of her Orillia, Ontario, date on her Liberation tour after losing her voice. “It aches me to share that I am under the weather and have lost my voice today,” she tweeted. “Per doctor’s order, I need to rest in order to get well asap.”
Following the announcement, Aguilera posted two additional messages to her Twitter page to express her sadness at the cancellation and thank her fans for their unwavering support. The singer promised that a new date in the city will be announced in order to make up for the cancellation.
The Ontario date cancellation comes before 16 more shows in the United States before the tour’s finish.
